Yesterday we reported that Montgomery County’s last remaining Jerry’s Subs & Pizza (8517 Colesville Rd. Silver Spring, MD) will close permanently on Friday, January 31st, based on two phone call conversations with the store. Today, several readers have shared they tried making one last trip and the restaurant was already closed. One reader stated he spoke with employees who were inside and was told the restaurant closed earlier than expected. Phone calls made to Jerry’s were not answered Tuesday afternoon.
Maryland and Montgomery County’s third Tatte Bakery & Café will open this Wednesday, January 29, at 12232 Rockville Pike. An employee provided us with photos from a recent friends and family event ahead of the cafe’s opening (available below).
Management from TGI Fridays in Frederick has confirmed to us that the Rockville location at 12147 Rockville Pike, in the Pike Center, has closed permanently.
