Restoration Hardware is opening its first RH Outlet location at 1519 Rockville Pike in the location that was previously home to the Rockville Bed Bath & Beyond and most recently home to a seasonal Spirit Halloween Shop in Congressional North Plaza.

A tavern established in 1750 in Annapolis (Anne Arundel County), a saloon that opened in 1775 (Baltimore), and an inn that opened its doors in Potomac in 1860 (Montgomery County) make up the three oldest restaurants in the state of Maryland that continue to operate today. Per Webster’s, a restaurant is a business place where meals or refreshments may be bought.
Olney Winery, located at 52 Olney Sandy Spring Rd. in Ashton, announced in November that it would be “closed until further notice.” On Friday, an email was sent to customers confirming that Olney Winery would be closing permanently.
El Sapo Cuban Social Club at 8455 Fenton St. in Silver Spring has announced it will permanently close. The restaurant was opened in 2018 by Chef Raynold Mendizabal, who also owned Urban Butcher, which closed in 2020.
