Dave’s Hot Chicken, the hot chicken restaurant chain based in California, will be opening first location in Montgomery County at the upcoming White Oak Town Center (12345 Columbia Pike). The chain has set an opening date of Friday, November 15th. Initially reported as Maryland’s second location, but it is the state’s fourth.
Eater DC has released its list of “The 18 Best Coffee Shops Around D.C.” and though there are many great coffee shops in the area, it includes just one coffee shop in Maryland– Montgomery County’s very own Takoma Beverage Company (Takoma Bev Co. 6917 Laurel Ave. Takoma Park, MD).

Last week, we reported that ongoing plumbing issues have forced all restaurants in the Woodley Gardens shopping center in Rockville, including Carmen’s Italian Ice, Shanghai Taste, and Z&Z, to temporarily close for repairs.
