Call Your Mother Deli is officially returning to Bethesda on Monday, August 3, when the popular D.C.-based “Jew-ish” deli opens its new permanent location at 4828 St. Elmo Ave.
The new restaurant occupies the former Hardwood Artisans space in downtown Bethesda, which was also previously home to Design Within Reach and Johnny Rockets. It marks the brand’s return to Bethesda after relocating its popular “Lil’ Deli” pink trolley from Old Georgetown Road to Riverdale Park last year following a five-year run.

Kareem’s Lebanese Kitchen is hiring as it prepares to open its first Washington metropolitan area location at 212 Boardwalk Place in Rio. While an exact opening date has not yet been announced, the restaurant is targeting an August debut. Exterior and interior construction both appear to be nearing completion.
