Last month we reported that permanent signage was up for Hangry Joe’s at 19730 Germantown Rd in the Shops at Germantown shopping center. According hangryjoesgermantown.com, the restaurant is scheduled to open on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

Lime & Cilantro, offering modern Latin cuisine, is taking over the space most recently occupied by Crown Fried Chicken and previously occupied by Krazy Steve’s and Armand’s Pizza at 1909 Seminary Rd in Silver Spring.
In September 2021, we let you know that Gregorio’s Trattoria would be opening its third MoCo location, and fourth overall, at Park Potomac- taking over the space that was previously home to Sugo. Sugo closed its doors permanently last in the summer of 2021. Signage is now up at the restaurant.

Last year we let you know that developers Bernstein Management and Finmarc Management pulled the first permits that will allow for construction to begin on the upcoming White Oak Town Center (12345 Columbia Pike). Now, eight tenants have signed on for the upcoming shopping center.
Brio’s Chicken is now open at Westfield Montgomery Mall (7101 Democracy Blvd) in Bethesda.
Last month, we reported that the space at 227 E. Diamond Ave. has been sold to the owners of local establishments Taco Bar El Guero (Rio area), Ixtapalapa (Gaithersburg) and La Gula Mexicana (Germantown).
