Restaurant industry professionals and their allies gathered Sunday night at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center for the 42nd Annual RAMMYS Awards Gala. Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington announced winners and a range of special distinctions, celebrating excellence in long-standing categories that range from individual professional honors to accolades celebrating culinary concepts and service. The “Hottest Sandwich Shop” award went to Colada Shop, which has locations in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

The Lady Vintner is coming to the lower level of the BLVD Forty Four high-rise apartment tower located at 42 Maryland Ave in Rockville. Hamburger Hamlet opened its first location in West Hollywood in 1950 and later opened additional locations in the Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington D.C. metro areas. The restaurant was started by actor Harry Lewis and his future wife Marilyn Lewis And was named for one of Shakespeare’s most famous characters.
