Last month we let you know that beloved Hong Kong-style dim sum and Chinese cuisine, Hollywood East Cafe will be closing its doors on August 24, 2025 after nearly three decades of serving the Wheaton, MD community. Montgomery County’s first Buffalo Wild Wings Go (BWW Go) is set to open its doors in Gaithersburg, bringing a new and streamlined way to enjoy the popular brand’s wings. The new location, situated at 16256 Frederick Road (corner of 355 and Shady Grove Rd.) will have its official grand opening on Friday, August 16th.

Back in January we let you know that bartaco  signed on to open its first Maryland location at 11886 Grand Park Ave. in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose. After little more than half a year later, there is some movement as construction prepares to begin and a hearing for the restaurant’s liquor license is scheduled for later in the month.
