Back in January we let you know that Eggspectation, a restaurant that serves “elevated American cuisine with a lengthy all-day breakfast menu alongside hearty lunch and dinner fare”, is returning to Montgomery County with its upcoming Burtonsville location. After a previous expected opening timeframe of fall 2024, an “early 2025” timeframe is now listed for the restaurant.
Eggspectation left Montgomery County in September of 2020 after 15 years in Downtown Silver Spring. ZiZa Kabob, which opened its first restaurant at 7351 Assateague Dr. in Jessup, has signed on to open its second location in the Twinbrook Quarter development that will feature the upcoming Wegmans in Rockville. ZiZa is associated with Baltimore’s Maiwand Grill and Kabul Grill.
Beloved Greek restaurant, Analia’s Cafe, will close its doors after nearly 10 years at 480 Prospect Blvd in Frederick. The restaurant made the announcement in a social media post on Tuesday.
