Churros, Inc. Food Truck Coming to Clarksburg Outlets
Churros, Inc. announced on their social media pages that they will be coming to the Clarksburg Premium Outlets every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting May 1st.
They offer traditional churros as well as stuffed churros (coffee, coconut & dulce de leche), savory churros (cheese & bacon), churro ice cream sandwiches, hot chocolate, and Mexican coffee.
You can also find Churros, Inc. at the Olney Farmers Market every Sunday from 9am-1pm and at their commercial kitchen in Gaithersburg.

La Poteria Coming to Montgomery Village
Sinage is up in the Montgomery Village Center for La Poteria.
You’ve probably seen the La Poteria food truck if you’ve visited the Clarksburg outlets.
Their menu features empanadas, hot dogs (perros calientes), and other Colombian street food.
We will give you more information on the opening when we hear it.
In the meantime you can find La Poteria at the Clarksburg Outlets Monday through Friday from 12-5PM, Saturday from 11AM-7PM, and Sunday 11AM-6PM.
Aldo to Close Permanently at Clarksburg Outlets
Aldo will close its Clarksburg Outlet location, according to a picture sent in by local dessert spot Lilly Magilly.
Aldo is a Canadian retailer that has nearly 3,000 stores in over 100 countries, including locations in Wheaton Mall and Montgomery Mall.
Calls to the location lead to a busy signal, but they are currently offering up to 70% off.
Canadian specialty tea shop, DAVIDsTEA, has announced that it will close all U.S. locations and move towards online sales.
The company has 42 stores the United States, including two in Montgomery County located in Montgomery Mall and the Clarksburg Outlets.
The MoCo locations were listed as temporarily closed since Covid shut things down in March, but a reopening does not look likely with the latest news.
Texas Bar-B-Q Factory is Now Open in the Clarksburg Outlets
The Filipino-owned barbecue spot was a fixture in the Lakeforest Mall food court for over a decade before closing.
It has found a new home in the Clarksburg Outlets as the outlets try to revamp their food selection.
Mimi King’s Kitchen is Coming to the Clarksburg Outlets
The local food truck will be in the Clarksburg Outlets parking most starting this Friday, July 3rd.
The food truck specializes in savory, gluten-free, Caribbean and soul food.
Mimi King’s Kitchen will be at the Clarksburg outlets every Monday and Friday.

Simon Property Group, who owns and operates Clarksburg Premium Outlets, announced they will be closing until March 29th.
“After extensive discussions with federal, state and local officials and in recognition of the need to address the spread of COVID-19, Simon will close all of its retail properties, including Malls, Premium Outlets and Mills in the U.S. This measure will take effect from 7pm local time today and will end on March 29.”
