Vera Bradley Outlet has opened at the Clarksburg Premium Outlets, marking the only current Vera Bradley store in Montgomery County.
Victoria’s Secret has opened its first Montgomery County outlet at the Clarksburg Premium Outlets. The brand is “inspired by a love for lingerie and a desire to bring beauty—and a sense of fantasy—into every woman’s wardrobe.”
Monster Milkshake is now open at Clarksburg Premium Outlets, located between Kay Jewelers and Beautiful U threading salon near the food court.
Baked Potato House, which featured “delicious stuffed potatoes”, has closed its location in the Clarksburg Premium Outlets after one year in business.
Fashion retailer Express has announced its filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and plans to close almost 100 of its locations, including the one at Wheaton Mall (11160 Veirs Mill Rd.).
“Store Closing” signs are up at Talbots at Montgomery Mall (7101 Democracy Blvd) in Bethesda.

Also currently has locations in Montgomery and Wheaton malls. The Clarksburg location is currently hiring and aims to open this fall.
Aldo announced a restructuring in May of 2020 when it filed for creditor protection during the COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns. In 2022 the company announced a successful restructuring, which would “mark the beginning of a new chapter” for the company that has been in business for over 50 years. Current CEO David Bensadoun, whose father Aldo founded the chain in 1972, stated the following in 2022, “It is with great relief that we put this process behind us, and with excitement that we now look ahead.”

The Jolly Shows Carnival will be at the Clarksburg Outlets (22705 Clarksburg Road Clarksburg, MD 20871) from July 12-16. There will be over 30 attractions, including carnival rides, games, and food wagons. According to their website, “We are a new generation of carnival operators who strive to be more progressive and professional. We realize that we must produce a premium product for our customer’s hard earned money. We won’t forget our proud traditions, but we are committed to overcoming the stigmas which have hindered our industry for far too long.” Tickets can be purchased here.
The carnival will be open weekdays 5-11pm, Saturday 1-11pm, and Sunday 3-11pm. Ride tickets cost $1.75 each and unlimited ride wristbands between $25-30.
