Montgomery Parks will present an updated Athletic Field Use Permit Policy to the Montgomery Planning Board on Thursday, February 5, 2026, marking the first major revision to the policy since 2013.
McDonald’s has now confirmed an exact closing date for its longtime Derwood location. The McDonald’s at 7200 Muncaster Mill Road in the Red Mill Shops shopping center is scheduled to permanently close on March 15, ending a run that spans multiple fast-food restaurant eras at the site.
