Families can look forward to a frightfully fun evening in downtown Bethesda as Bethesda Row hosts its Annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat Event on Thursday, October 30 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event promises a mix of community spirit, festive fun, and local giving, with all proceeds benefiting Manna Food Center, the Montgomery County nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger.

The Germantown Flea Market returns this Saturday, November 1, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the MARC rail commuter lot at the intersection of Germantown Road (Rt. 118) and Bowman Mill Drive. This weekend’s event will be the final market of the 2025 season. (more…)


Updated to reflect that Mattress Warehouse will be taking over one half of the space that was previously home to Buca Di Beppo.

A new Chase Bank branch is planned for the space currently occupied by Mattress Warehouse at 178 Kentlands Boulevard in Gaithersburg, according to the Kentlands Market Square leasing brochure. The document lists Chase as the incoming tenant for the high-visibility corner space.


The Montgomery County Council will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 9 a.m. to present proclamations recognizing Cybersecurity Awareness Month and Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, followed by a vote on Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA) 25-11, which would create a process for approving temporary telecommunications facilities.
