Back in June, MOD Pizza closed its location at 12027 Rockville Pike (Montrose Crossing). The closure came approximately three months after the Kentlands location closed and a few months after the announcement that its Downtown Silver Spring location at 909 Ellsworth Dr Suite B106 would not be reopening after closing in the summer of 2023 due plumbing issues. Now, its replacement at Montrose Crossing has signed on.

In July we let you know that Beauty 4U signed on to take over the space that was the longtime home of Walgreens at 11215 New Hampshire Ave. in White Oak until closing the store permanently in February. The store officially opened this past week.
The development of Rockville Town Square came following the demolition of the Rockville Mall in 1995, when local residents initiated discussions that laid the groundwork for revitalizing the downtown area. Though it has had its difficulties with restaurant and retail tenants in recent years, things seem to be trending in the right direction.
