One Medical, a membership-based primary care practice, is coming to North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose. It will be occupying a 5,133 SF space on the corner of Meeting St. and Rockville Pike, in the newest Pike & Rose building (915 Meeting St).

In July we let you know that Dream on Me, the New Jersey-based company that recently purchased Buy Buy Baby’s brand and digital assets for $15.5 million and was a supplier for the store, was the successful bidder for 11 store leases at a bankruptcy auction for about $1.17 million.Buy Buy Baby’s sole Montgomery County location, at 1683 Rockville Pike in Rockville’s Congressional Plaza, closed its doors on Sunday, July 30th, but was included as one of 11 stores that will reopen. The store reopened in November and is now holding an additional “Grand Re-opening Celebration on the weekend of January 20th and 21st. Details and registration link for the free event below:

Today, Montgomery County-based Choice Hotels launched its newest multichannel national marketing campaign, “A Stay for Any You.” The largest in Choice Hotels’ history, the campaign stars actor and writer Keegan-Michael Key in national TV and streaming TV ads and social media content.

Ekó House, located at 150 Gibbs St. in Rockville Town Square, will be closing on Sunday, January 14th. The restaurant took over the space that was previously home to Bar Louie and has been open for approximately two years. Per their statement, shared via the restaurant’s social media, they will be looking for a new space to continue operating. Full statement below:
