According to a social media post by Montgomery County Recreation on Wednesday morning, the white paint coating was completed at the indoor pool at the upcoming Silver Spring Recreation and Aquatic Center (video rendering below).

According to Metro Transit Police (MTPD), Mekhi Thomas, 23, of D.C., has been arrested in connection with an attempted rape that occurred aboard a Red line train on Thursday, November 16 in Silver Spring.
MTPD tweeted that Thomas was taken into custody and is being charged with attempted rape, assault, robbery, and several additional charges. Thomas is currently being held on without bond. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
