During a traffic stop in the Briggs Chaney/Castle Boulevard area of Silver Spring, MCPD’s 3rd District Community Action Team arrested a driver with an active warrant and recovered a stolen loaded handgun, while a passenger was also arrested after an AR-style pistol with 30-round magazines was found.
The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) recovered two illegally possessed loaded handguns in separate incidents in Silver Spring and Briggs Chaney, arresting individuals during a trespassing investigation and a traffic stop.
