On Friday, the Frederick County Grand Jury returned seven indictments. Among those charged is Montgomery County man Tevis Denver Findlater, 27, of Silver Spring, who faces two counts of first-degree assault, four counts of second-degree assault, malicious destruction of property (valued at less than $1,000), possession and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and six counts of violating his release conditions.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) is investigating a collision at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Atherton Drive that left a vehicle on its roof in Wheaton-Glenmont. Chief spokesperson Pete Piringer provided details on the incident, noting that responders are evaluating two patients involved in the crash.
The City of Takoma Park, Maryland and Ms. Kakila Cooper, a former dispatcher for the Takoma Park Police Department, have reached an agreement to settle Ms. Cooper’s claims of sex harassment and retaliation for $1 million, according to a news release by the law firm of Correia & Puth.
