On November 9, at approximately 4:57 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to a strong armed robbery report at the Sardi’s restaurant located in the 1100 block of University Blvd.
On November 5, at approximately 4:06 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 700 block of Ethan Allen Avenue for the report of a strong-arm robbery that had just occurred involving five juvenile suspects assaulting the victim and taking his car keys before stealing his vehicle.

Chief Antonio DeVaul from the Takoma Park Police Department has announced the arrests of Eduardo Vallera Carrizallez, 21, and Onalker Machado Martinez, 24, both without fixed addresses, for strong armed robbery after the suspects placed accessories on the victim’s shoes without consent and then demanded payment leading to the suspect’s restraining the victim and stealing money.
On October 15 at approximately 4:15 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to a theft scheme reported at Ria Money Exchange, located inside Megamart Supermarket in the 1100 block of University Blvd. The incident occurred on October 13, 2024, around 3:30 pm.
On October 16, at approximately 12:11 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 900 block of Merrimac Drive (7-11), for the report of a stolen vehicle. The victim’s 2018 black Ford Explorer was stolen moments after it was parked. During the investigation, the stolen vehicle was found fully engulfed in flames in Sligo Creek.
On October 7, 2024, at approximately 1:42 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Aldi’s) following a report of an armed robbery.
