The Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (OEMHS) has shared that there were 13 road closures during the storm this past Tuesday, with additional storms coming this evening.

With a flood warning in effect until 11:30pm tonight, we’ve shared some tips courtesy of Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) along with a list of roads in Montgomery County that are susceptible to flooding.

President Joe Biden will be en route to Bethesda today (Tuesday. December 19th) for a campaign reception. President Biden will be departing the White House at approximately 3:40pm and will be participating in the reception at 5pm, according to the President’s daily schedule. This will likely cause traffic in the area, as the motorcade has caused major delays during past events. According to the schedule, President Biden will be departing Bethesda at 5:45pm, which would cause traffic for the later part of the evening rush.
