The Black Rock Center for the Arts in Germantown is offering free COVID testing tomorrow from 9 AM – 3 PM in their parking lot (12901 Town Commons Dr).
They are also hosting their Hispanic Heritage Family Day event, but you do not have to be registered for the event (registration is full) to take advantage of the testing.

Ulta Germantown Opens Tomorrow (Friday, 9/25)
Ulta is having their Grand Opening on Friday, September 25th in the Neelsville Shopping Center in Germantown (20938 Frederick Road).
Over the weekend USA TODAY reported that home-goods retailer Bed Bath & Beyond revealed 63 stores that will be closing by the end of 2020. The list included three Maryland locations, including the store located in Gaithersburg Square.
Bed Bath & Beyond has two other MoCo locations, in Germantown and Rockville, that will remain open for now. Earlier this summer the company revealed that it will close 200 of its stores in the next two years, so this may just be the first round of closures.
Shirley Butler Has Died at 91, Leaving a Legacy at Butler’s Orchard
Shirley Brown Butler, whose family invited visitors to “pick their own” produce at Butler’s Orchard, has died at 91 years old. She was lovingly known as “Mrs. B” on the farm. She could be found driving around Butler’s Orchard in her golf cart, followed by her dog Dakota.

Dustin Construction recently announced the substantial completion of Seneca Valley High School in Montgomery County– now the largest high school in the state of Maryland.
This 452,500 SF replacement high school was constructed while the current school remained operational on the same site.
