A Montgomery County Circuit Court judge sentenced Ervin Alfaro-Lopez, 34, of Germantown, to 55 years in prison, with all but 20 years suspended, after he pleaded guilty to sexual abuse of a minor and three counts of third-degree sex offense.
K2 Cafe is expanding. The popular Poolesville-based cafe will open a second location at the Clarksburg Market, located at 23335 Frederick Road in Clarksburg, bringing its Himalayan-inspired bowls, wraps, and specialty drinks to another Montgomery County community. Atzerodt was arrested in Germantown, the town where he had spent many years as a boy. How he got involved with the Booth gang and why he ended up back in Germantown is a compelling story.
