The drive-thru Dunkin’ at the Fox Chapel Shopping Center in Germantown (19781 Frederick Rd.) is reopening soon, and the closure that sparked questions from local residents is only temporary.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded at 4:35 a.m. to the 26100 block of Mullinix Mill Road in Damascus after a 911 caller reported a large outside field fire with power lines down next to a home. Firefighters arrived to find the field fire had extended into the house, with flames in the attic and a bedroom. (more…)
Zoo Mantality, known as The Zoo, was founded in 2024 by Montgomery County natives Khamari Williams (Avalon), Raphael Ayala (Northwest High School) and Rodney Snider (Northwest High School). What began as a few men trying to better themselves through fitness has evolved into a brotherhood rooted in accountability, purpose, community, and support. Now, they’re introducing workout battles to Montgomery County.

Montgomery Parks has begun a major renovation of the South Germantown Adventure Playground, which officially began construction on December 1, 2025, according to the Montgomery Parks website. The extensive project will modernize and reimagine one of Montgomery County’s most popular family destinations, with a scheduled reopening in summer 2026.
