Chick-Fil-A at 19945 Century Blvd in Germantown has announced it will reopen on Wednesday, March 13. The restaurant closed back on February 24 for renovations.

The Lyft driver who allegedly terminated a ride and stopped in the middle of the southbound lane on Coastal Highway following a disagreement, demanding all passengers exit the vehicle and leading to the death of Montgomery County man Sydney Wolf, has been formally indicted. The Lyft driver was identified in court documents as Laquise Leon.
Two teenagers were sentenced today for their involvement in a 2022 murder that occurred in Germantown. (more…)

Congratulations to Team Robo Mania! A group of 6th graders from Clarksburg including Anya Naga, Vihaan Shah, Saanvi Pandrapragada, Om Pawar, Kyra Parikh, and Arjun Prakash formed a First Lego League team this year and won the Championship Award in the qualifier round.
Kayla DiCello, a 2022 graduate of Northwest High School in Germantown and Boyds resident, took the Winter Cup women’s all-around title on Saturday, posting a 56.850, ahead of Skye Blakely (54.650) and Hezly Rivera (54.000).
