Amore Eats opened in May 2022 at the Exxon (then a Liberty gas station) located at 1900 Rockville Pike in Rockville. In the last 2+ years, it has gained a reputation for offering some of the best Taiwanese cuisine in the area (video of the experience can be seen below).

The MoCo Epic is a festival celebrating mountain biking, natural surface trails, and the community that makes this region a great place to ride! 2026 marks the 16th anniversary of the MoCo Epic.


Germantown

The Germantown National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, August 6, from 6-8pm at Montgomery College (20200 Observation Dr) in Germantown and Ride On will be offering free shuttle service to and from the event. (more…)

In May we let you know that Yummy Bowl Mongolian Stir-fry and Sushi announced it will be opening this month at 2010 Veirs Mill Rd in Rockville. The restaurant is making progress and a Delaware location is opening this month, giving us a sneak peek at what to expect in Rockville (photos below).

Maryland

According to Maryland Lottery and Gaming, Maryland’s six casinos combined to generate $169,821,301 in revenue from slot machines and table games during July 2024, a decrease of $4,501,777 (-2.6%) compared to July 2023. Casino gaming contributions to the state during July 2024 totaled $72,163,554, a decrease of $1,020,623 (-1.4%) compared to July 2023. (more…)


Bethesda

On Friday, a Georgia man was sentenced to eight years in prison in connection with an August 2023 collision that killed one and seriously injured another on I-495 near the 355 exit ramp in Bethesda. (more…)
