Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is making waves in Maryland as he films his renowned television series, “Kitchen Nightmares” or a show with a similar premise. Today, the Frederick Police Department shared a photo of Ramsay posing with two of its officers, confirming the chef’s presence in the area.

Events

The Hometown Holidays festival will return to Rockville Town Center in May, featuring two days of local entertainment, food, shopping, and community activities, followed by the city’s annual Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade.

The festival, returning to its original location for the first time since 2019, will have a local, community-based focus with live music, artisan vendors, children’s activities, and food from local restaurants, while the Memorial Day Parade on May 26 will showcase over 60 groups celebrating the theme “Magic in America.”

Attorney General Anthony G. Brown and a coalition of 22 attorneys general won a preliminary injunction blocking the Trump administration’s illegal freeze on federal funding for states, nonprofits, and community programs.
