Olney Library Will Be Closed for Exterior Assessment on Tuesday, Feb. 27; Expected to Reopen on Wednesday, Feb. 28

Montgomery County has announced that the Olney Library (3500 Olney-Laytonsville Road) will be closed for an essential exterior assessment on Tuesday, February 27. The library is expected to reopen the next day.

Per the press release: In the event of inclement weather, the library will instead close on Friday, March 1.

“We recognize the impact of our services on your daily lives, and we regret any disruption caused by this one-day closure,” said Anita Vassallo, director of Montgomery County Public Libraries. “We encourage you to access services at nearby branches and explore our digital resources during this time. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to resuming operations at the Olney branch.”
