Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the 9600blk of Athens Pl in Gaithersburg (Downtown Crown) on Tuesday, May 7 for the report of a fire.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke showing and located a fire in the kitchen of a townhome. The fire was quickly extinguished and there were no injuries reported.
