The $48 million sale of River View (7979 E. Boulevard Drive in Alexandria, VA)– a 16,000 square foot home with an additional carriage home has set a new record for the most expensive home sale in DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) history, according to the Washington Business Journal.
The home belonged to the former CEO of Lockheed Martin, Robert Stevens, and was first listed a year ago (October 2020) for $60 million.
Unofficial results for the November 2, 2021 municipal election for Mayor and two City of Gaithersburg Council Members have been announced.

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) manages the Shared Streets program, which allows residents and businesses to use public spaces for in-street activities such as biking, walking, outdoor dining and retail activity.

Today in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD, before the honorable Judge Jeannie Cho, defendant Ruel Francis Dempster II, 34, of Silver Spring, entered a guilty plea to the charge of first-degree murder for the death of Alice Dennis, the mother of his children.
Sentencing is scheduled for February 4th, 2022 and the defendant is expected to receive an agreed upon 40-year prison sentence.
