According to a tweet from MCFRSPIO Pete Piringer, the man was able to recognize the snake as a copperhead. Piringer also states that the bite marks were indicative of a venomous snake.

Current Councilmember Nancy Floreen announced her decision to potentially run for County Executive as an independent last week. Rumors swirled about her moving forward if Marc Elrich was to win the democratic nomination– and now it looks like there isn’t much stopping her.
Floreen must change her party registration to “unaffiliated” by August 6th and gather 7,000 signatures in order to appear on the ballot.

ROCKVILLE MD – This afternoon, the Blair Campaign filed a formal petition with the Board of Elections for a recount of the June 2018 Primary Election results.
Over the last several weeks, the Blair campaign has closely reviewed the results of the 2018 Primary Election. “We have analyzed the election results by precinct, reviewed the treatment of thousands of provisional ballots, and spoken with hundreds of individual voters who experienced difficulties registering to vote or casting their ballots,” said David Blair, “and while it is certainly unclear whether a recount will affect the outcome, we believe the narrow margin coupled with the numerous issues impacting the election make a recount appropriate.”

They play at Walter Johnson High School, Woodley Garden Park and Montgomery College in Rockville. This group is meant for intermediate levels and a yearly fee of just $10. I am the owner of Demefit Online Personal Training and I was born and raised in Silver Spring MD. I attended Bethesda Chevy Chase High School my freshman year and finished the remainder of my High School career overseas. Throughout high school I have always participated in sport teams year round so fitness has always been a part of my life! In college, I joined the Montgomery College Women’s Basketball Team while studying athletic training. I also joined the Women’s Softball team during the spring season for a short period of time. I participated in 2-hour long practices daily in addition to games. You would think I would be in amazing shape. Yet, my nutrition was not the best so I gained a substantial amount of weight in college. This just goes to show you can’t out-train a bad diet.
During my college career, I went through a massive mind and body transformation; losing over 50-pounds in fat. Over the years, I worked my way back up by increasing the number on the scale by gaining muscle. My transformation story has been featured by Toby Knapp on HOT99.5, Washingtonian, MSN.com, Bodybuilding.com, Train Magazine, Muscle & Fitness Hers, and several more. They are located at 255 N Washington Street in Rockville Town Square and will open daily from 11am until midnight. The Spot will be closed on Fridays.

The vehicle was found this morning by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources with various fireworks all around.
There were approximately two dozen people present at the time and the fire department was not called. Multiple attempts to extinguish the fire were not successful. There was over $5k in damages, but luckily nobody was hurt.

Reader Chase Carter was able to send us some photos of the restaurant and it looks like it may take a while before the restaurant is serving Pizza again.
There is no time table for when the renovations will be completed, but it certainly looks like a long process before this location is up and running.
