For now it seems to just be a rumor, but one that has travelled quickly. According to restaurant management it has not been sold.

The original plan was for there to be a slight overlap and for both locations to be open simultaneously for a week or two, but construction hit a snag at the new location and we’ve been left Yoyogi-less for a few weeks.
The wait is almost over, as Yoyogi has announced a soft opening for Tuesday, June 19th (11am-3pm) and their grand opening on Wednesday, June 20th.

Last week we heard from Jorge Portalea’s Washington Metropolitan Business Brokers, who confirmed the new location.
I’m told that construction has not began yet, but they expect to open in the fall– as early as late September.

This past weekend, she took the recent high school graduates and their management team (20 in total) out to dinner to celebrate their success. This wasn’t just a regular dinner, as the team dressed up, met at Chick-fil-A, and were picked up by a limo that took them all to dinner at Copper Canyon in the Rio Washingtonian Center.
