Join Neighbors for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final
Rockville, Maryland, June 7 – The City of Rockville will host a free viewing party for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final at 8 tonight at Rockville Town Square.
We started with the salt and pepper calamari. At first I was looking for something to dip it in, but the jalapeños give it a bit of a kick so a dipping sauce isn’t really necessary. If you’re feeling bold, you can change the calamari for…frog legs!
If you’re looking for seafood with a twist, this is a great spot. They have a second location in Hyattsville.

“Greetings,
I wanted to take a moment to update you on some new changes for your Montgomery County Police, 6th District Team. On June 10, 2018 we are launching our new Montgomery Village Team. This team is comprised of a sergeant, corporal and four police officers. Their primary responsibility will be to provide proactive patrols and problem solving in the Village. While they will run calls for service from time to time, their focus is to work on problem solving through community outreach, coordination of resources and of course enforcement efforts. The team is led by Sgt. Carlo Corvoisier. Sgt. Corvoisier has an extensive amount of experience in Wheaton patrol, the Special Assignment Team, Narcotics and more. His second in command is a long time 6D member, Corporal Edward Rodriguez who has served as our School Resource Officer at Watkins Mill as well as a patrol officer and Corporal in the “Robert Sector” which encompasses The Village. The officers are the team are Ofc. Sheri Bare, Ofc. Bastian Urriola, Ofc. Timothy Banker and Ofc. Paul Rodgerson. All of these officers were hand selected and they each bring a variety of experiences and all bring a strong passion for making a difference.
To ensure we are as coordinated as possible I have also moved the supervision of the School Resource Officer and the Community Services Officer under the Montgomery Village Team. This will ensure that some of our most critical efforts are coordinated in one chain of command. Our new school resource officer is Ofc. Ashely Breslin who has been on a temporary assignment at Watkins Mill High School for the entire 2017-2018 school year. Ashley has done a great job and made a big impact on WMHS.
Since opening in May, the lines at The Baked Bear in Pike & Rose have consistently wrapped around the corner.

Muncaster Mill, less commonly known as Highway 115, is a road that starts at Woodfield Rd. in Gaithersburg and extends to Norbeck Rd. in Rockville.

When elected, the executive typically functions either as a voting member of the elected county government, or may have veto power similar to other elected executives such as a governor, president or mayor.
• Sting and Shaggy (who actually released an album together, titled 44/876, earlier this year) will be performing near one of the G street entrances a couple hours before the game (Fall Out Boy is scheduled to perform prior to Game 4).
• Wheel of Fortune host, Pat Sajak, will be announcing the starting lineups for Game 3 (he actually lives in Severna Park, MD). No word on if Vanna White will join him.
The event will take place at the Nancy H. Dacek North Potomac Community Rec Center (13850 Travilah Road Rockville, MD 20850) from 7pm-10:30pm.
It’ll feature Jimmy Alexander from the Jack Diamond Morning Show as the guest emcee and tickets are only $20 per person (advance purchase is required).
Poki DC will be opening soon in Rio according to their signage and recent Facebook post (it’ll be located near the movie theater across from BGR). Their North Bethesda store at the Georgetown Square shopping center is expected to open later this summer as well (10400 Old Georgetown Road).
The Rio location will be opening this summer and has a lot to offer.
