The restaurant, which is being opened by the founders of CAVA, has a hearing for its liquor license with Montgomery County’s Alcoholic Beverage Services (ABS) on Thursday, September 5th at 11:30am.

Raising Cane’s started its expansion into the D.C. metropolitan region when its first area restaurant in December 2022 in Sterling, VA (45545 Dulles Eastern Plaza). The first Maryland location opened in Towson in January 2023 and both stores featured lines out the door for months on several days of the week. Additional locations have opened across the state and now a College Park, MD location has been announced the corner of Route 1 and Knox Road.
