MCPS recently highlighted 2024 graduate, Edna Reyes’ successful journey to this year’s graduation. She has navigated and completed three programs simultaneously and earned a recognition for students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages in high school.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) and HazMat units are responding to the 5600blk of Spruce Tree Ave, off of Old Georgetown Rd.,  in Bethesda for a 2 inch gas line struck in front of a home.

DMV

This weekend, June 8 – 9, Metro will perform maintenance and repairs on the Red and Green lines, with normal service across the rest of the system. Trains will serve 93 of Metro’s 98 stations. Yellow Line service will also extend to Greenbelt instead of stopping at Mt Vernon Square, providing additional service for expected crowds along the Pride Parade route and other Pride Weekend events.
