Food and Toy Drive in Montgomery Village

The Montgomery Village Foundation will be hosting a contactless food and toy drop for residents on December 12th at Lake Marion Community Center.

Helping those in need – food and toy drive

The season of giving is upon us—help others in our area who may need a boost this holiday season. MVF is hosting contactless food and toy drive events to benefit residents in our own community. The goal this year is to work with local charities and keep all donations within the Village.

Although we are not able to hold our annual Holiday Concert and Toy Drive this year, we would still like to give back to the community, and we’re expanding it to include a Food Drive as well! Residents who feel so inclined may donate non-perishable goods and/or new, unwrapped children’s toys or items from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12 at Lake Marion Community Center, 8821 East Village Avenue.

This event will be contactless for your safety and convenience. Simply pull up to the front door and pop your trunk and staff will gladly retrieve items from your trunk. For more information, call Tara O’Shea at 240-243-2361, e-mail toshea@mvf.org or visit www.montgomeryvillage.com.
