Montgomery County Redistricting Commission Approves New Seven District Map

by Patrick Herron

Last night the Montgomery County Redistricting Commission approved a new seven district map for the County Council’s consideration.

The volunteer commission selected a map created by David Stein, a math teacher at Montgomery Blair High School, according to Bethesda Beat.

The Council will hold a public hearing on the new map in the coming weeks.

Below you’ll see the current five district map followed by the proposed seven district version.
