Nick’s Diner, a Wheaton staple that’ll be celebrating its 40th anniversary in a couple weeks, recently announced via social media that it will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays going forward. Nick’s Diner, which is located at 11199 Veirs Mill Rd, cited the staff shortage for the decision. The diner’s full message can be seen below:
“Dear Friends and Family,
It’s no secret that there is a severe staff shortage all around the country. We at Nick’s are no exception to this unfortunate
circumstance. Effective immediately we will now be closed every Monday and Tuesday. We will open Wednesday-Sunday. Our Saturday hours will be from 7am-3pm. It is our utmost
priority to make sure our guests still recieve top notch service and food and that our current staff, who have been working tirelessly are getting the rest and recharge they deserve and need.
We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support. We are just a few weeks away from being officially open and in business for 40 years and we truly could not have done it without you.
