The Washington Commanders have officially unveiled a new set of uniforms that blend the franchise’s past with a modern edge, headlined by an official return to their iconic “Super Bowl era” look and the introduction of a bold black alternate.
Mirchi Dhaba is now in its soft opening phase at 18280 Contour Road in Montgomery Village Plaza in Gaithersburg, taking over the former Chopathi Indian Kitchen space next to Patel Brothers Farmers Market. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) responded around 3:45 am to the 13800 block of Georgia Avenue near the entrance to Gate of Heaven Cemetery for a vehicle fire.
A serious overnight crash involving multiple vehicles and a tractor-trailer fire shut down the I-270 express lanes near Montrose Road, sending several people to area hospitals and prompting a lengthy hazardous materials response.

Anthony Michael Cohen of Germantown is set to begin a 750-mile walk on May 4 retracing Harriet Tubman’s Underground Railroad route from Maryland to Canada, and a series of kickoff rallies across Maryland and Virginia will lead up to the journey.
