The Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force participated in a national initiative, “Operation Safe Online Summer,” resulting in 595 investigations, 41 arrests, and the rescue of 17 child victims. The task force urges the public, especially parents and seniors, to remain vigilant about online safety and continues to provide education, outreach, and investigative support to combat internet-based crimes and child exploitation. As you may have been able to tell, one of our editors is on vacation at one of the most popular beach destinations for those in our area. After years of visits and savoring countless slices from different restaurants at every hour, we believe Trattoria Lombardi’s offers Ocean City’s best pizza– or at least, our favorite. The restaurant is located between 92nd and 93rd Streets (but known as Lombardi’s 94th St.) on Coastal Highway in Ocean City, Maryland, has been a staple for Italian cuisine and pizza since 1962.
