Last week, the company celebrated a significant expansion of its manufacturing operations in Clarksburg, Maryland.
Over the past year, TDSI also doubled its manufacturing floor footprint through a $4 million investment, expanding production capacity to support the company’s continued growth.
Today, TDSI employs approximately 675 people in Montgomery County, including roughly 250 manufacturing employees.
As demand for its technologies continues to grow, the company continues to expand and has added more than 225 positions locally over the past three years.

Fara Dillon has been named the 2025 MCPS Middle School Counselor of the Year. An MCPS alumna, Dillon began her educational journey at Stone Mill Elementary– where she also served as a counseling intern in 2020– then attended Cabin John Middle School and graduated from Wootton High School, where she interned as a counselor in 2019.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) Assistant Chief David Pazos reported that a tanker operated by MCFRS was involved in a collision in the 9500 block of River Road in Potomac at 7:54 pm Saturday.
Detectives from the Gaithersburg Police Department are investigating a shooting and assault that occurred Saturday night on Bureau Drive, where two men sustained non-life-threatening injuries after being attacked by a group, with evidence of a shooting also recovered at the scene. (more…)
This morning we reported that the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) responded to a shooting involving multiple suspects and a tow truck driver overnight in Montgomery Village. This afternoon we heard from the driver of the tow truck. Photos of some of the damage can be seen below.

Back in October, we shared that Trader Joe’s would be opening at 225 N. Washington St. in Rockville Town Square, taking over the former Dawson’s Market space, which closed last summer after twelve years. Recently, Rockville Mayor Monique Ashton posted a photo of the grocery store nearly completed, and an employee from a nearby location indicated that a mid-June opening is possible.
