UPDATE: “Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injury. I-495 WB (Outer Loop) past MD-187 (Exit 36). Mont Co, MD. All OL lanes are blocked. Traffic is diverted to I-270. Delays begin before MD-355. The ramp from MD-355 northbound to the OL is also blocked. An extended closure is expected”

Jamie McIntyre, former CNN military affairs and senior Pentagon correspondent, as well as former Washington Examiner senior writer for defense and national security, will speak about how the events on 9/11 and the aftermath ushered in a “post-truth” era in America. Jamie has written extensively on this topic and draws from a life-long career in journalism, including his time at the Pentagon on 9/11.

These will be an outdoor craft fair featuring local artisans and professional woodworkers, a chainsaw carving, woodworking and tool demonstrations by Festool, Montgomery Wood Turners and Carvers. There will also be lots of delicious food provided by El Parente Tacos, El Jeffe Wood-fired pizzas, Bruster's Ice cream and seasonal craft brews from Saints Row Brwsing Company.

Scotland African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, a cornerstone of the Potomac community and a historic place of worship, today announced the successful completion of its restoration and expansion. This marks the culmination of the church’s ambitious 2nd Century Project. “After more than five years of displacement, the congregation returned to its revitalized building—a church intended to stand for another 100 years as a symbol of resilience, faith, and justice.”
