Montgomery County is encouraging federal employees returning to in-person work to utilize accessible transit services provided by the Department of Transportation (MCDOT), including Ride On buses that connect major federal work locations to Washington, D.C. The county offers affordable public transit options, with a fare of $1 per ride, and has been increasing bus service with high-frequency routes and improvements to enhance efficiency.
Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown and 19 other attorneys general filed an amicus brief in Wilcox v. Trump, arguing that the dismissal of NLRB member Gwynne Wilcox has left the agency unable to enforce labor laws. The Triumph Trek at the Rio is the ultimate celebration of strength, recovery and hope — and everyone is invited.
On Sunday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation and Adventist HealthCare Home Care Services will gather at Rio Lakefront in Gaithersburg for an untimed walk-or-wheel around the accessible lakeside path.
