The snow emergency will end at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, but travel remains hazardous, and residents are urged to stay off the roads, clear sidewalks, and check on neighbors during the extreme cold. Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) has identified the following sixteen (16) geographical sites located throughout the county for emergency meal service on January 7, 2025. Grab and Go meal distribution will be available from 12pm-2pm for ages 18 and under. Families may pick up meals and bring them home to enjoy. Heating instructions will be included.
