Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) Assistant Chief David Pazos reported that a tanker operated by MCFRS was involved in a collision in the 9500 block of River Road in Potomac at 7:54 pm Saturday.

Last April we let you know that local restaurant group Moby Dick House of Kabob signed on to open a new restaurant in Potomac’s Cabin John Village (11325 Seven locks Road Suite 180, Potomac MD 20854). The new location is adjacent to Colony Grill on the back side of the shopping center and opened last month. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded to a garage fire at a single-family home on Piney Meetinghouse Court in Potomac around 4:30am on Sunday.
On Wednesday night, a fire broke out in the garage of a single-family home at 9400 Holbrook Dr. off Falls Road in Potomac. The incident initially began in a detached garage containing two vehicles and quickly extended to the exterior of a nearby house.
