Six people, including Toyia Johnson of Rockville, were found guilty in connection with a 2021 Labor Day weekend triple homicide in Washington, D.C., that left three people dead and three others injured. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced that a Prince George’s County man was sentenced to 10 years in prison and four years of supervised release after a federal investigation by ICE and the DEA found he conspired to distribute fentanyl and possessed a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will close and detour two ramps on I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) in Prince George’s County as part of a ramp resurfacing project beginning July 6. Work will take place overnight Sundays through Thursdays, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. All work is expected to be complete by the end of July, weather permitting.
