The Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD) is searching for a suspect involved in a stabbing at the Silver Spring Transit Center that occurred Thursday night.
On August 28, 2024, at approximately 12:04 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 1000 block of University Boulevard in response to a reported assault.

On August 24, 2024, at approximately 2:50 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue following a report of an armed robbery that had occurred earlier in the day involving a fake $1,000 winning ticket.
