Born and raised in Rockville, Marshall’s local roots are a notable part of her story. A graduate of the now-closed Robert E. CBS has announced that “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” will end its run in May 2026, and that the “Late Show” franchise itself will be retired at that time. Colbert was born in DC and spent some of his early years in Bethesda, right here in Montgomery County (video clip below shows him bringing up his time in the area).
