Olney’s Fair Hill Shops shopping center began its summer concert series on May 9th and will continue through September 26th. The concerts take place on the second and fourth Thursday of the month and each day consists of an early concert for kids with a family concert in the evenings. The full schedule can be seen below:

WMHS graduate Kathryn Bratt-Pfotenhauer will speak as a featured poetry author and in the following block WMHS english and journalism teacher Sara Goodman Confino will be one of the featured authors at the Gaithersburg Book Festival for the second time. Confino will be engaging in a discussion about her book, Don’t Forget to Write, with Sophie Wan, the author of Women of Good Fortune.
