KLNB has completed the sale of 189 Kentlands Boulevard in Gaithersburg, a two-story, 19,880-square-foot office property positioned on 1.28 acres in the center of the Kentlands community. The building sold for $5.95 million to Community Options, which will occupy the property as an owner-user, according to ConnectCRE.
The Kentlands Community Foundation, in partnership with Kimco Realty, will host its annual Tree & Menorah Lighting Celebration on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Kentlands Market Square in Gaithersburg. (more…)
Andy’s Pizza is set to officially open its new Kentlands location at 145 Commerce Pl. in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, November 19. The restaurant is taking over the space that was previously home to MOD Pizza, located next to Chopt.
Permanent signage is now up for Andy’s Pizza, which will soon open at 145 Commerce Square Place in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood. The restaurant takes over the space formerly occupied by MOD Pizza, which closed in March 2024.
Updated to reflect that Mattress Warehouse will be taking over one half of the space that was previously home to Buca Di Beppo.
A new Chase Bank branch is planned for the space currently occupied by Mattress Warehouse at 178 Kentlands Boulevard in Gaithersburg, according to the Kentlands Market Square leasing brochure. The document lists Chase as the incoming tenant for the high-visibility corner space.

Another piece of the puzzle has fallen into place for the former Buca Di Beppo space in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands. Just days after it was confirmed that Tatte Bakery & Café would be opening in half of the building, we’ve learned that Mattress Warehouse will occupy the other half.
One of Gaithersburg’s most beloved Halloween traditions is back… and it’s bigger, spookier, and more meaningful than ever. The Spooktacular Halloween display known as Spider Manor has returned to the Kentlands at 237 Little Quarry Road, welcoming visitors every day throughout October. Tatte Bakery & Cafe is continuing its expansion in Montgomery County with its fourth location coming soon to Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood. The popular bakery and cafe will be taking over half of the space previously occupied by Buca di Beppo at 112 Kentlands Blvd.
The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Onekick Martial Arts’ new Kentlands location on Thursday, October 16 at 12:00pm. The event will take place at 255 Kentlands Blvd in Gaithersburg, the former home of Charm City Run, which closed earlier this year after two and a half years of operation.
The annual Kentlands Bar Crawl saw record participation this year, with approximately 150 attendees coming together to raise funds for a good cause. The event, held over the weekend, brought in nearly $1,500 for Comfort Cases, a nonprofit organization that supports children entering the foster care system by providing them with backpacks filled with personal care items and comfort essentials.
