Commas Food Hall, a new 13,000-square-foot food destination on the third level of Ellsworth Place (8661 Colesville Rd) in Downtown Silver Spring, recently soft opened with just some of its stalls currently operating. Tokoa Cheesesteaks, which local food reviewer “Big Schlim” has rated with his highest honor, “STAMP,” has just opened in the food hall.

Agora, which opened its first restaurant at 1527 17th St NW DC back in 2010, is a Mediterranean restaurant specializing in Turkish, Greek, and Lebanese cuisine served tapas-style. The restaurant has since opened a location in Tysons Corner, VA in 2019, and will now be opening its first Maryland location in Bethesda, according to Biz Journals.

A multi-vehicle crash on the westbound Bay Bridge/US 50 has led to significant traffic disruptions this afternoon. The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) reported the incident at 12:15 p.m., stating that all westbound lanes were blocked due to the crash, which involved entrapment.

Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown and a coalition of 21 attorneys general submitted a letter opposing a proposed HUD rule that would repeal Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing regulations, arguing the rollback would undermine efforts to prevent housing discrimination and promote equitable access to federally assisted housing.
