Two Maryland restaurants made the September edition of Eater DC’s list pointing diners toward the most intriguing or otherwise buzzworthy new restaurants in the D.C. area.  Both Maryland restaurants happen to be located in Montgomery County, approximately 90 feet apart.

Members from the Maryland Car Rally Task Force, working in collaboration with the Maryland State Police (MSP) Special Operations Division, and allied police agencies disrupted seven unlawful exhibition driving events throughout multiple Maryland counties, including Howard, Anne Arundel, and Baltimore, Saturday night. Three people were arrested in association with the exhibitions.

With World Teachers’ Day around the corner and teachers making an average of 5% less per year than they did 10 years ago after adjusting for inflation, the personal-finance website WalletHub today released its report on the Best & Worst States for Teachers in 2024, with Maryland ranked the 5th best state for teachers.

Maryland State Parks shared on Sunday morning that Assateague State Park, along with other beaches along the Maryland coast, is experiencing a significant amount of medical waste washing onshore. Ocean City also released a statement on the issue (seen below).
