Sixty Vines, the restaurant brand known for its wine-on-tap system and vineyard-inspired dining, will officially open its first Maryland location on Monday, October 13th at 212 Ellington Boulevard in Downtown Crown, Gaithersburg (sneak peek video below). Chick-fil-A’s only Little Blue Menu location has officially reopened in College Park, MD. Located at 7242 Baltimore Avenue, the restaurant is now open Monday through Saturday from 7am to 10 pm, offering both dine-in and carry-out options, as well as delivery and limited curbside pickup.
Matt Post, a Montgomery County native and former Student Member of the Board of Education (SMOB), has announced his candidacy for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 14. The seat opened following Delegate Pamela Queen’s retirement, and Post joins incumbents Anne Kaiser and Bernice Mireku-North on the ballot for the three-member district.
Governor Wes Moore, alongside legislative leaders, announced $200 million in direct rebates to help Maryland families offset rising energy costs, with payments distributed in late 2025 and early 2026. The rebates, part of the Next Generation Energy Act, will provide between $30 and $67 per household depending on utility and usage, while also supporting broader efforts to lower energy costs, reduce emissions, and expand nuclear energy development.
